Most of the media headlines will read something like: “Ohio rejects legalizing marijuana” or ” “Ohio against legalizing marijuana.” But, we believe that there is just as big of an argument that Ohioans shot down State Issue 3 because it allowed for the monopolization of marijuana.
State Issue 3, if passed, would have allowed only 10 owners who had the millions to invest, the right to produce and sell across the state. Interestingly, Ohioans voted YES on State Issue 2 which prohibits initiatives that would create market monopolies.
Doesn’t it make you happy to be living in a state which hands you the freedom to choose between hundreds and hundreds of marijuana producers and stores?
