UPDATE: You can find a list of pot shops in Seattle to buy legal marijuana.
It has been over a month since the first Seattle recreational marijuana shop opened its’ doors to adults over the age of 21. And we still only have one. Not only have we not seen another pot shop within city limits since then, but we have not even seen another one even receive its’ retail license.
In fact, Tacoma has seen more cannabis shops open its’ doors than Seattle: two to one, and have received more retail licenses: four to one. It’s not a big difference, but when you consider Seattle is 3 times larger in terms of population and was at the forefront and spotlight of the I502 campaign, it’s interesting to say the least.
How much longer before Seattle receive it’s 2nd retail weed store? Next week? 2 weeks? a month?
