Now that marijuana is legalized in Colorado and Washington State, and more states are ready to follow, I would expect more and more feature films and documentaries. Potentially a slew of them. Hopefully down the road it doesn’t get as tiresome and overplayed as the zombie genre but it may be inevitable.

A couple weeks ago we posted news about Four hundred and Twenty Dollars, an upcoming feature length marijuana inspired comedy by Arpi-revo. Just yesterday, we reported that Arpi-revo signed on an actor to play the leading role.

Rolling Papers is an upcoming feature documentary of the cannabis culture in Colorado from the perspective of The Denver Post & The Cannabist. The film features Rafael Baca, who was put in charge by the Denver Post to assemble a team and cover the cannabis industry.

We will keep you updated on these films as well as any other marijuana related films we hear about.
