Top Washington State Legal Marijuana Stores (October Total Sales)

November 11, 2014 By Manic Conrad

Last month, two Seattle recreational marijuana stores made the top five for total October sales (three, if you include Seattle area Herbal Nation).

New Vansterdam, based in Vancouver, continues to impress by leading the way with approximately $760,000 in total sales*. Just minutes from the state border, we assume that visitors from Oregon have an impact on total sales. This assumption is only confirmed by an observation from local marijuana blog Mrs. Nice Guy: ‘it seems as though there’s a decent amount of Oregon customers.’

We should note, the number of reported sales for New Vansterdam was obtained from the retail store and not the Washington State Liquor Control Board (WSLCB). According to New Vansterdam, the WSLCB did not report a correct number. If any other retail stores have the same issue, contact us so we can update the infographic accordingly. The information in this infographic was gathered from a document located here.

Here are the top 5 recreational marijuana shops in Washington State for total sales in the month of October:

Tacoma’s ‘Rainier’ Grand Opening Delayed a Week

July 6, 2014 By Manic Conrad

Tacoma Rainier on Pine weed store

Tacoma’s Rainier on Pine recreational pot shop will now have to wait until next week before their grand opening. According to Apache6, Rainier’s security team, the ‘processors will not have the product ready in time.’

If you made plans to be at the grand opening at 10am on Tuesday, you can change them to the Seattle grand opening of Cannabis City at noon. Just expect a lot more people and no guarantee you will be able to buy any product before they sell out.

‘Rainier on Pine’ Tacoma Recreational Marijuana Shop to Open July 8

July 4, 2014 By Manic Conrad

Rainier on Pine Tacoma

UPDATE: This recreational marijuana store is now open for business. We will continue to update our guide and look for use to advertise Tacoma marijuana stores.

With 15,000+ expected at the opening of Cannabis City in the SODO area of Seattle, some of you may fancy a nice little drive South on I-5, to avoid the crowd and visit the grand opening of Rainier on Pine in Tacoma. Many who attend will likely already be the kind to use the product (bought from sites like https://www.dailymarijuana.co/product/twisted-velvet-strain-aa-28-grams/, for example), though some may be curious newcomers to the world of cannabis. An overwhelming Seattle turnout may not be the only reason to visit the Tacoma recreational marijuana shop. For example, Rainier on Pine plans on opening two hours earlier at 10am for the cutting of the “green ribbon,” and expects to have five times cannabis flowers available (approximately 50lbs).

Rainier on Pine Tacoma
Rainier on Pine was formerly known as Rainier Wellness Center, when it opened as a medical marijuana collective in March of 2011. The dispensary was recently shut down three weeks ago to transition into a recreational marijuana shop. With over 17,000 medical patients in it’s database, the shop will continue to serve this sector. In fact, according to the owner Don Muridan, the retail pot shop will wave sales tax on purchases for all customers with medical marijuana cards. Read more here about the process of acquiring a medical marijuana card if you don’t currently have one but feel you need one.

If you’re not based in Tacoma or near this store, you can still get your medical marijuana online. If you have a medical marijuana card, you can go online to sites like old27north.com/ where you can buy cannabis for when you need it, with an extensive variety of strains.

Apache 6 will provide security on a daily basis for the retail shop. This highly qualified security consulting firm consists of extensively trained military and security personnel.

Don Muridan plans on opening a 2nd recreational marijuana store in the downtown area of Tacoma. Staying true to his brand and vision, the store will be called Rainier Downtown.

Stop by and visit Rainier on Pine at 3111 S. Pine Street on July 8 and be a part of history!
