Marijuana review: A night of baking and Seinfeld with The Goodship Company

Marijuana review: A night of baking and Seinfeld with The Goodship Company

One of my favorite things to do is bake or cook something delicious while sipping a glass of wine and watching episodes of Seinfeld. I was hankering for a wind-down evening this weekend and decided that I would swap out the wine for a cannabis-infused edible. I had purchased a cookie by The Goodship Company recently and knew that would be the perfect addition to my evening since they are advertised to compliment a relaxed social setting, much like wine.

I took the Saigon cinnamon snickerdoodle cookie out of the hip packaging, gathered all that I would need to make banana bread muffins, and turned on season three of Seinfeld. After reading the cookie’s packaging, I decided to heed its recommendation and start with half of the cookie which contains 5mg. I preheated the oven, ate the first half of the cookie, and settled into shenanigans of the 90’s.

The cookie is soft and delicious. It smells of cinnamon and sugar and tastes like cinnamon apple. In fact, it tastes so much like cinnamon apple that I read the ingredients to see if any apples were added. No apples were added, so I am curious to know if anyone else tastes apples in the cinnamon snickerdoodle cookie. The Goodship Company uses the Cypress extraction method and ensures that each edible is consistent, so a person can expect the same high every time.

I whipped together the ingredients of the banana bread muffins and took my dog outside, before putting the muffins in the oven.

Earlier that day the weather was very hot, so I was avoiding much activity outdoors. Though, at about 8 o’clock there was a slight, cool breeze and a gorgeous sunset. My miniature schnauzer and I sat in the grass for a bit to enjoy the sights and I began to feel more relaxed, a sure sign that the cookie was taking effect. We mosied back inside and I dolloped banana bread batter into a muffin pan.

Now, I don’t know if you have ever watched Seinfeld after eating edibles; if you haven’t, I highly recommend it. Classic episodes, such as The Letter, are ridiculously entertaining. As the banana bread was baking, I sat on the couch and lost myself in analyzing Elaine, trying to figure out how she is so cool. Seriously, I would really love to be as cool as her.

The high was very pleasant and came on easy. It was reminiscent of a wine buzz, though more energetic. I was focused yet relaxed, which proved to me that a Goodship Company cookie really is a wonderful accompaniment to a social gathering. After the muffins were done baking, I threw together a tabbouleh salad for lunch the next day. This productive, plan-ahead preparation doesn’t normally happen when I just have a glass of wine, so I was thoroughly impressed with the high from the cookie. After the tabbouleh salad was complete, I loaded the dishwasher and sat down to enjoy a muffin and jump back into the hilarious show about nothing.

I couldn’t recommend a snickerdoodle Goodship Company cookie more. They are tasty and have such a relaxed, entertaining high which offers focus and social ease. Let us know if you have tried a cookie from The Goodship Company and what activities you were inspired to partake in. When a Goodship cookie is involved, you are guaranteed a good time.
