With the recent opening of Hashtag recreational cannabis and the brand new appropriately named Pot Shop Seattle, Wallingford and Fremont has quickly put their stamp on the legal marijuana industry in North Seattle.
Hashtag, located on 3540 Stone Way North between Fremont and Wallingford neighborhoods, carries a selection of not only flower, edibles and concentrates, but paraphernalia as well. Wood accents the earthy modern interior in the form of ceiling beams, and retail shelves behind the counter. The store also has a nice roomy openness to it.

It is not clear if Pot Shop Seattle, located at 1058 North 39th, is open at the time of writing. According to their website, “We’ve been busy getting our new shop ready to open soon.” But, according to this billboard, which seems to accidentally point to the neighboring mortgage company, the Pot Shop Seattle may be open?
UPDATE: we have just received info that the Pot Shop is not yet open but will open soon.
We will update you once we know for sure.
At any rate, Wallingford / Fremont will have two recreational marijuana stores .3 miles away from each other.
